I don't take note of stars but because of this thread looked back at some of the Red State PARF threads I started.

They all seem to have been given 2-stars.

Most recent thread 1-star.

I don't feel outraged at all, but would like perhaps like to know if the people responsible are even posting in the threads.

While I have never rated one of your many Red State threads, a person rating it with one star was probably hampered by not have a 1/4 or 1/2 star option. Perhaps a better indicator would be a negative number or even an icon for a black hole.

See, zero stars would work for you in this situation.

I always give my Threads FIVE BIG ONES..stars that is...

I only give 5 stars because this is about participation and not a competition. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

Some of you guys are jerks on line but I have never met one in person.

For that a pass is granted.

If I see 1 star I automatically throw out 5 stars unless the thread is actually terrible, but that's rarely the case.

In 15 years here, I've never noticed the stars unless someone points them out, (usually complaining), such as here. I've never given a star rating.

I have to say that this begs the question, how old are we here? :confused:

speeder this thread got me thinking about that as well, I went and was looking back at my post count and threads and noticed I'm comping up on my 10-year mark soon, and that is just the time registered... there were years where I was a lurker only.

This is my longest running board now. I had done 5-6, even 7-years at old groups/bbs/forums that made their way in the early 2000's but this one is my long haul...

Ya mean like someone starting a thread berating a fellow Pelican they were fighting with over in a tech form and being somewhat ambiguous about who that poster was and giving no info as to what the disagreement was about?
