Dads & Sleep Overs

OK all you experienced Dads out there, my 14 year old daughter
Came to me and asked me if she could invite a girl friend and
A male friend supposedly gay to have a sleepover in our house but
They will all sleep in the same bedroom with the male friend on the
Floor in a made up bed.
What should I say or how do I react or just say no problem

Norm K 03-27-2015 11:56 AM

It'd be a no from this dad.

911SauCy 03-27-2015 11:59 AM

That "gay" kid is a PLAYA!!

No way coming from me.

craigster59 03-27-2015 12:00 PM

No way.

Oh Haha 03-27-2015 12:00 PM

No.

Did I mention "no".

Let me rephrase that>>>>>>NO

Nordwest 03-27-2015 12:01 PM

I have a 14 year old daughter and I am in the "NO" camp.

aschen 03-27-2015 12:04 PM

That supposedly gay kid is a freaking genius

+1

BTW-My daughter will be 9 next week. I am NOT looking forward to her teenage years.

offcrusin 03-27-2015 12:05 PM

Keep the comments and opinions coming Dad's have to make a decision today!

bivenator 03-27-2015 12:06 PM

Nope. The only way to be sure of his gayness would require some uncomfortable probing on your part.

rusnak 03-27-2015 12:08 PM

No. Hel-loo, buy a clue.

speeder 03-27-2015 12:13 PM

Hilarious thread. Maybe Pelican is making a comeback after all.

wdfifteen 03-27-2015 12:17 PM

NO! - unless you regularly see the kid in makeup and pink chiffon, then it's no.

Crowbob 03-27-2015 12:17 PM

Yes! Absolutely! No down side. Just think, you could be a grampa just about the same time as the daughter goes thru driver's training! And what about all the benefits of having a gay son-in-law! High schools nowadays even have day care. Cool! The daugter will popular as heck. I bet you might even still have some of the stuff you need to raise another snotbucket crumb-crunching rug rat. Or even two of 'em in a year or so!

Stay calm-and go for it!

Tobra 03-27-2015 12:17 PM

This is one of those social experiment threads, isn't it.

intakexhaust 03-27-2015 12:18 PM

NO WAY!

With kids these days, expect a protest but if you want to shut that one down, tell your daughter of a hidden cam. Your house, your rules.

I'm not that experienced as a dad, but I put in 12 months as a 14 year old boy. You'd be crazy to fall for this.

pavulon 03-27-2015 12:20 PM

If I was 14 today and thought there might be a chance this might work, I'd be getting some skinny jeans and a hat ASAP.

asphaltgambler 03-27-2015 12:20 PM

Ummmmmm........Hell no! Reminds me of a saying "How do you know teenagers are lying to adults"? Answer: Their lips are moving

Brando 03-27-2015 12:23 PM

This thread makes me not want kids. I'd be very un-PC in such a situation.

Anyhow, hope it works out.
