Father of a daughter here and give another NO! I agree the kid pretending to be gay is a frickin genius.

BTW...I found out last night that my daughter is gonna make me a grandpa in 7 months.

GH85Carrera 03-27-2015 12:27 PM

I have no kids and have never been a parent.

I say sure go for it! Tell her it is a great idea!

azasadny 03-27-2015 12:28 PM

Hell no.....!

And I'll never drive a girl home without someone else in the car with us. If the babysitter needs a ride home my wife will take them. If it's a friend of my kids, someone else is coming along.

+1 on this.

...and of course not. Don't let anyone sleep over if you can help it, much less a boy that may only be suffering from temporary sexual "confusion".

I am the custodial parent of a 14 year old girl. Did I mention I am the father? As much as I would like the story to be true, and give them the benefit of the doubt, the answer is NO.

GH85Carrera 03-27-2015 12:37 PM

Well you know I became a lesbian when I turned 14. Does that make me gay as well?

LOL, I am a lesbian trapped in a mans body.

I still say do it. You'll want to maximize the experience for all involved, too. Delete the parental controls on cable, unlock the booze cabinet and go out for a couple hours so they can have some quality tag team fun!

offcrusin 03-27-2015 12:50 PM

Consensus is leaning towards a overwhelming No

KevinP73 03-27-2015 12:53 PM

Father of four girls here.
It all depends on your daughter. How much do you trust her ? I have one I wouldn't trust as long as it took me to blink an eye. Two others that I'd trust without hesitation.
Have had plenty of sleep overs over the years. It was a rule in the house that mom and I knew the kids sleeping over before the event. Never had a problem but consider ourselves lucky for it.

Crowbob 03-27-2015 12:56 PM

Just think of it as community service. If the guy is, in actual fact, confused now he won't be come Monday, I bet. You may be saving the kid a whole lifetime of self-doubt.

This is s no-brainer.

Nfw!

aschen 03-27-2015 01:02 PM

the world is nothing without compromise:

How about an emphatic HELL NO, followed by the offer to drive him home at midnight or some other late time so they can still have their party or girl talk or whatever it is teenage girls and gay boys do together is.

scottmandue 03-27-2015 01:04 PM

What a bunch of unenlightened tight a$$es!
Tell them yes!
But the boy has to sleep in your room...

Not a father here :D

ckelly78z 03-27-2015 01:10 PM

Tell her this....Boys at this age are off limits, he's welcome to come for supper and a movie, but no boys on sleepovers.

Crowbob 03-27-2015 01:10 PM

There's even more reason to say yes, believe it or not. Don't you think it would be so cool to have the weirdo co-worker come up to you at work and remark about how this girl in a nasty you tube video looks allot like your daughter? 'Check this out' he says.
