Best online photo prints, ie snapfish, shutterfly...

Have you folks used services like this for prints of photos? What's the best wrt a balance quality and price? I've never used any of them. I understand that pretty much everyone does this these days, CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Shutterfly, Snapfish, etc....

I'd like to have a few things printed and sent to a relative, so since I won't see the end product, I'd like to go with someplace reputable.

I have used Walgreen's and CVS, was happy with both, provided the quality of the digital photo was good enough to print.

Best bet is to print the stuff locally, then drop them in the mail.

I use Costco and send it myself. That way I get to check it first, add a personal note and make sure I see it first hand (and no naked selfies made it into the family calendar).

All do terrific work. Just remember garbage in garbage out. Unless your monitor is calibrated the prints may not look as you expect. Get a small one printed and sent to you so you know what it looks like. Then go for the multiple larger prints.
I just started printing big- 40x60"- myself so I have complete control of the process, but any of the above are excellent to work with

That's probably a good plan, but I'm horrible at getting stuff done on time. I'd rather have them printed and mailed directly.

These will be prints from a wedding that were done by a pro photog. Most are very good quality. I'm also not going to be printing huge photos.

Later I will be getting a photo book done of an Amazon vacation that we took. They will be photos that I took. I'm pretty sure that I'll be able to narrow it down to a couple of hundred good shots out of the 7500 or so that I took.

Do you own the photos? A lot of pro shot stuff is copyrighted, and not to you.

I've run in to issues with some of the printing places before, wanting a signature that you owned what you were printing.

Yep, part of the agreement is that we can have them printed for friends and family. We were provided a copy on CD as well. I double checked that when we signed up. It seems that most of them these days do that.

If you are doing a lot of printing, yeah, it is cheaper to send them to Costco, but for a handful of 4X6s, it is worth the extra ~50¢ not to deal with Costco.
