On the 240th birthday of the USMC, I found out that my daughter was named squad leader down at boot. Kinda cool.

Well she did it. Had a great couple days down at Parris Island for family day and graduation. This pic is from family day. She qualified as sharpshooter and loves shooting now-- no previous experience before this. It was fascinating seeing the base and everything that goes on there. Really cool. Next Monday she's off to North Carolina for Marine Combat Training and after that Virginia for her MOS, which is intelligence. Really proud of her!
