Never too old
Congratulations to Tetsu Ikuzawa. On the top step of the podium again. His Supertec powered 68 911 out paced 5 Lotus 26Rs on his way to victory. Tetsu is 72 years and 9 months young.
Tetsu was a factory Porsche driver back in the 80's when he drove the number 42 Kremer K3 in the 1980 World Endurance Championship. 3rd on the grid at the 1980 Le Mans 24 hour race. ![]() ![]()

You know what worries me? I see that the guy is 72+ and think to myself, "Hell, that's not so old."

Hopefully we don't have to start playing golf till were in our late 70s.

Even if I were in good enough health to race at 76 I'm not sure I could afford to race for another 20 years. ![]() ![]() ![]() Hero old driver rip Andy Porterfield at 83. I love seeing things like this... what an inspiration. There was an 82 year old guy winning the SCCA Runoffs in his Formula Atlantic back when I was running one.
