Not sure if he was able to fetch the dog before it got run over ... I remind my family of this when we travel and everyone wears shoes ...

+1000...totally agree with aigel! Plus I can't stand the thingy between the toes.

Super comfy, stable on all ground, waterproof...and your toes are well protected! When it's cold out I'll just put on some really thick BLACK socks underneath for that ultracool suburban professional look! :D

Vash, those are the Teva Dozer Men's Beluga model. I totally swear by them! They're great for moderate hiking especially around water, great for boating, fishing......PLUS...They're very MANLY looking!!!...they're not for girly men!;)

I've owned several pairs over the years. The older ones I keep for working in the garage, yardwork, etc.

i'm gonna order a pair. they look perfect for boulder hopping during trout fishing. i pack in and a second pair of (wet-able) shoes is a must.

that burned into my mind's eye and i think a medical explanation might help me sleep..EVER again.

I've owned both Teva and Keens. I prefer the Keen Newport H2 for trout fishing, surf fishing and hiking. I like the better toe protection.

I've had Keens as well. A great shoe but I just found the comfy factor on the Teva Dozers was just so much better. The Keens just seem to pinch my feet all over.....Ok, I'll admit that I have girly sensitive feet...NTTAWWT...(not-that-there's-anything-wrong-with-that)!:rolleyes:

I found that I just couldn't wear my Keens all day, whereas I can live in my Tevas.

Most comfortable 'shoe' I have ever worn. Trail running, gym, all of it.

Tevas are great. Keens are fantastic. Way more manly, and look much better than foam flip flops. +1 on toe protection. And you don't want to twist out of your shoe when hiking or walking on rocks.

Probably a diabetic patient with advanced peripheral vascular disease leading to severe fungal infection. My BIL's BIL had feet like this just before he passed away from complications of advanced type 2 diabetes. He was to undergo amputation shortly before he passed.

^^you might be right.

Diabetic's suffer from that dry itchy skin..something about crystals in the blood from weak kidneys..........

Absolutely. That's what I did. I found a few places that had them locally, and then went and tried them on. From then on, I was able to buy them online when I found them on clearance. I've even found some on clearance in local stores. I got my cheapest pair that way. $24 for some that regularly retailed for $85.
