Dunno... there are a few ladies that have made good $$$ showing off their scrotum

Me? Yeah, my legs and feet look like a train wreck... rarely on display... except maybe in Hawaii where I blend in with the other ugly white tourists.

You're only white until you hit the beach. Then you're pink, red, then purple.

[QUOTE=craigster59;8679647]Always one to go a bit against the grain, my usual casual footwear hasn't been mentioned yet. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you........

The Huarache!

But.... only the handmade ones with real 40k tire tread as a sole. Get them wet (preferably salt water) walk a bit until they dry and they are like a fine pair of Italian loafers. I also wear Keens when fishing or hiking (for toe protection) and flip flops just to mix it up.

Those are cool! Where would one find a pair of them?

I wear things accordingly. Flip flops on the beach, because they are practical, you can wash, shake the sand off, viola... I do not wear flip flops to the store, work, or casual runs. I bet 90% of flip floppers here wear solid white New Balances with long white socks under shorts... To me dudes walking in the middle of a mall with flip flops are like "hey let me put a hashtag on my a$$ and see how many hits I get"... :D

I'll have to take your word for it. I haven't even had that close a look at my own jewel sack. It's not exactly in a viewable position. From your description, I don't think I ever want an FPV of it.

Keens are IMO the best work boots made, especially if you've had problems with other boots such as foot/ leg pain, calluses, etc.

Some prick with a mediocre life who's obsessed with status uniforms in society?

I actually do agree that it has value to dress appropriately for various situations and that this can vary for different regions and whether urban/rural/etc. When you are in the bread basket of America, (farm country anywhere), men all pretty much dress the same with flannel shirts and trucker hats to be warm and comfortable and keep the sun off their nose. You cannot tell who the gazillionaires are and I like it like that. In my crowd, you would look down on people who are brilliant, incredibly generous and wealthy beyond your dreams. People whose biggest challenge is how to give away hundreds of millions this year. The dress code is a little different from someone who thinks that $5M is a huge amount of RE. :)

What does a multi millionaire and homeless guy have in common? ??

They can wear the ugliest clothes and no one says a thing.

Unfortunately they are pretty much only henco en Mexico AFAIK... if you have a place that sells Mexican imports maybe check there... or book a flight to Cabo http://forums.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/s1b.gif

I personally don't like wearing them but I do when going from the house to the pool because I like going barefoot even less. Thongs/flip flops/whatever have been popular here in the mid-west since the early 80s. I am not one to judge, I wear jean shorts.

Good, it did its job.:D

Don't worry, we all wear our jean short like that out here ( out of fashion already, Ithink). Haven't you noticed yet. You will joint the trend soon enough, its just time.

Baz 06-24-2015 02:58 PM

Jean shorts = JORTS!

Jim Richards 06-24-2015 02:58 PM

Must. Resist.

look 171 06-24-2015 03:10 PM

This one is on me. Next time I see you, I will have my interior decorator buy you a pair from one of their most fashionable shops in West Hollywood. What size are you? Will extra small be good to squeeze enough? Don't fight it, just join the look. I think you wife will be shockingly surprise how good you will look in it. Just don't wear it at DC, I don't think its too fashionable back east.

Jim Richards 06-24-2015 03:13 PM

I would be a hit around Dupont Circle.

look 171 06-24-2015 03:17 PM

hahaha. I had to look up Dupont Circle.
