Kentucky Fried Chicken makes me sick, not as badly as last night, but puking all the same. Not every time, about 1/5 of the time.

OMG. Showed my wife this thread and we're rolling on the floor laughing here. So 20% of the time you eat there you puke it up, but you keep going?

Sorry about the sickness jyl, but yeah...you had to endure multiple trips to KFC and subsequent puking in order to come up with an accurate 1 in 5 probability, no? Ouch!

Once a year I'm compelled to make the pilgrimage to KFC. I don't know why that stuff has a hold on me. Through strength of will, I limit it to a single annual pig out. And, yes, one of of five times, it makes me sick.

I threw out the fish. Had a dinner with no fish and no kimchee. Yakisoba noodles, bok choy, roast pork belly.

I'm mostly better, except that I seem to have a slight fever and slight body aches. I think this will be gone by morning.

Spring 1990. Spaghetti Works, Omaha, Nebraska. Thought I would die but was afraid I wouldn't. Spaghetti gives me flash-backs to this day.

One of my employees bought me a fish sandwich from McDonald's. I was too busy to eat it, but ate it several hours later because I didn't want to be ungrateful. I buy the crew a few meals per day, so I think he was trying to be nice.

Anyway, I also had a case of the flu as it turned out. I spent the night in the ER with vertigo so bad, I could not sit upright. Took 4 bags of IV and several magic pills and a few $K later I could barely walk out of there. That was the first time in my life that I ever had an IV in my arm and it sucked worse than the food poisoning. I guess the nurse forgot to remove the tourniquet. My left hand looked as big as a catcher's mitt for around 4-5 hours.

I understand. My wife thinks I would go to Skyline for chili even if I knew it would make me sick (she may be right) - that's what she finds so funny about your thread.
There are some things that won't be denied. Maybe when they find a cure for heroin addiction there will be hope for people like us.

Next time I'd take only water or lemonaide/apple cider vinegar for 24 hours until it is gone. 30 feet of intestine takes a while to flush(no pun intended), and you want to stay hydrated. Then hit the yogurt and probiotics and fiber to replenish.

I got it from supermarket pork at 20 and Culvers just a few years ago.
Other than that I can eat anything.
