I took these in Savana, GA in November. All I know is there wasn't anything there when I took the photos. Got back to my hotel room and look at the SD card.

This was a random photo I took at one of the squares

I took these photos seconds apart. The house was pitch black except a light in the alley shinning through the second floor left window.

Yup, Bush's fault...next thing you know the illegal ghosts will feel marginalized, there will be a cry for more aid to ghosts of the less fortunate, there is a shortage of clean ghosts due top increased fracking, no one will take any ghost seriously if they drove a well set up 944...

Two people in the room, my wife who was taking the pictures, and me.
I was wearing a white polo shirt, other pictures at the same time show that.
The only lighting in the room is in the BACK of this photo, so anything photographed would be backlit, no shadows. You might notice the shadow is covered by the table and can be coherently seen above and below it...

The house was known to have a...ghost...when we moved in, the guy who built the place.

Of course, the ghost coulda just been our albino ferret...

What? someone said there is no Easter Bunny, then I'm going to stop feeding that dam thing running around my back yard. I thought it was responsible for those funny colored eggs. Now I hope a Coyote gets it.

So what is your point?

We are just a speck of nothing that and we around for a microsecond of time in the universe. That does not make the Loch Ness Monster anything more real than a way to fleece tourists. The Easter bunny is not real either!

As human beings we are only aware of 4 Dimensions. length, width, height and time. Science is basically confined to observing those 4 Dimensions as well, anything that lies beyond those 4 Dimensions is basically unprovable and for some does not exist. To think that something does not exist because it lies beyond our purview is foolish as best.

I do tend to think that human beings exist in more than the 4 aforementioned Dimensions simultaneously and our access to those other realms is through our imagination and dreams.

There are many things that I do not know about one way or the other, so rather than make a value judgement about there being no Easter Bunny etc. I rather just leave it as a case of to be determined in the future. I will keep collating data and putting the pieces together.

Perhaps it is part of my romantic, sentimental or whimsical nature but I do tend to believe in Ghosts.

I am more interested in function over form. Sometimes when I am writing something will come to me in the form of a phrase or image and I had better write it down quickly lest it gets lost.

I have tons of bad photo's with smudges and glare. None have ghosts in them.

I really don't care about mystical stuff at all.
And I have no need to put a name or description on things I can't explain.
My world would be full of 'ghosts' if I did.

I seem to keep misplacing my keys, wallet and cellphone. Can't really explain why.
Could it be ghosts???

So far in this thread, the only pictures I have seen look like a reflection or a smear on the lens, not some paranormal entity magically appearing in front of our eyes.

I am not going to boldly state there it doesn't exist, I will state that I have never seen, or experienced anything of the sort, and have never seen a clear photo of Nessie , bigfoot, or any ghosts. Does this mean they don't exist ? No, it means there is no evidence to explain or support thier existence.

I'm glad you asked that question. I used to be hardcore into the whole UFO thing. I read lots of books on the subject (pre-internet days) and even got into the whole alien abduction thing ("missing time" and all that). I thought it was interesting and exciting that beings from another planet were visiting us. Why were they here? Where did they come from? How did they travel those distances? I was fascinated.

...Then, I started to realize that there was all this smoke, but never any fire. Never. There was no concrete evidence that any of it was true. Just rumors and shaky eyewitness testimony and fuzzy photos and lots of stuff that could have logical explanations. No actual evidence at all. Have you noticed that UFO sightings have trailed off noticeably now that everyone has cell phone cameras? Hmmm....interesting. Then the complete lack of evidence was always explained by conspiracy theories.

So, I decided that I could no longer believe.

Now, having said that, do I think that life exists somewhere out there? Absolutely. Do I think that same life is visiting the Earth and mutilating cows in Fyffe, Alabama? No.

Show me the evidence and I will believe. Simple as that. Same with ghosts, Bigfoot and weight loss supplements.

Right there with ya Mike! While I'm a believer that all things that are wished themselves to be (yes I'm an ontological fool!) I have now come to the arduous conclusion that no matter how many pills I take I am only going to just 'so big'.

To attempt to add value (?) to this thread, however, I lived in a fraternity house in college for 2+ years that had a history of "encounters". I never saw or heard anything while I lived there, but some officially creepy and hard-to-explain stuff went on in that house. I personally knew many of the people involved in the encounters and I fully believe that they believed something unexplained was going on. It was an old house (an actual residential house) that we rented from an old lady in town.

A few of the stories:

A guy wakes up one morning (~spring time) and it is so cold in his room that he can see his breath. He figures something is wrong with the heat in the house (not uncommon) and doesn't think much of it. He gets ready for class and as he walks out the door realizes it's warm outside (way too warm to see your breath).

This same guy in the same room was woken up one night to the sound of his refrigerator door (in his room) opening and slamming repeatedly. He sat there and stared at it opening and closing. There was no one else in the room.

Several of the guys that lived on the second floor would have the same dream at night and wake up, go out into the hall to only find the other guys standing there (that's when they found out they were having the same dream). This happened more than once.

One guy was studying one night (late - everyone else was asleep) and he was picked up by something and held against the wall and couldn't move. He said that he could feel "hot breath" all over him. Once he was released, he ran out of the house. He never went into the house again (and ended up quitting the fraternity). Never - other people had to get his stuff out. I talked to him about this about two years after it happened and he was still freaked out - would not go back in the house.

As I mentioned, we rented this house from an old lady. We had to take the rent check over to her every month (this was the olden days) She lived in the house as a little girl. She was very quiet, but one time when one of the older brothers was dropping off the check, she said that when she lived in the house, they used to hear noises in the basement. She said that it scared her so much she slept with a gun in her room. She said one night, it really got to her and so she got up and fired the gun down through the floor of her bedroom into the basement below. Her bedroom was the room that we used as the "TV room". We were replacing the carpet in there one year and found the bullet holes.

I have more stories that get even creepier...

IROC: That's funny. Had a similar experience in college that has always stayed with me. I was staying in an old Victorian house (girls dorm) called the Thayer House (look up if you want) at Dean College in franklin, Mass.
Normally there'd be 30/40 people there. This was day before vacation I was there with the gf and about 5 others on the same floor. One night we both heard a VERY loud child cry once or twice in middle of night. Enough to make me jump out of bed. GF heard it too along with the others. Unfortunately I was the only guy there so I was asked to check the rest of the house. nothing.

One of the girls did some history out of curiosity and found that the original owner (woman) had murdered her only child, in the "boarded up room" across from ours!!

This was 1985. It was real enough for me not to forget in 30 years.

Ghosts? Yes, from personal experience....voices, sounds of dancing in the den, appliances turned on in the middle of the night...really too many to mention.

UFOs? I didn't, but then listened to the testimony of many credentialed individuals that led me to question my beliefs:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64njI0uNvGg

and the release of "Project Blue Book"

now, I guess I'm in the believer's camp.
