Can't say I have actually ever seen anything... however I do believe the human race only understands/comprehends only about 10% of what is really going on around us.

To add to the tread:
My front house is old... not old by many standards but old enough that several people and lived there before my family bought the property... my brother was the first owner and he and his girlfriend claimed to see things... I seem to remember stories of a little girl running from room to room... my friend did some painting at that house and also claimed to see things.
On the other hand, I lived in that same house for 10 years and never saw a thing.

The Queen Mary in Long Beach CA. is said to be haunted, the same guy who did the painting for my brother worked there as a waiter in the coffee shop at the very back of the ship... one night a lady came in dressed in vintage costume (not unusual for the Queen Mary) ordered tea, he brought it to her, took a few steps, turned around, and she was gone (because the restaurant was on the back deck there was only one entrance/exit to the coffee shop and he was standing between the lady and the exit and the place was empty because it was late at night).

The Queen Mary operates as a hotel, I would like book a room for a few nights sometime... however I am not keen to do that all by myself (buk, buk, bagahk!) and I don't know anyone who would go with me (pretty sure it would be a no go for the wife).

About right is my guess. I haven't seen anything either (other than two UFO's) and have zero, zippy, nada, desire, requirement, rational, need, want or proof to witness, photograph, experience, hear, feel or touch anything from the Astral Plane, Astral Weeks or a Weekend at Bernie's.

I refuse to entertain the notion simply because.

Edit: Because it creeps me out. My Sister, former Prosecutor all around sane human, tries to tell me the things she sees and knows: Nope. Not because I can't understand, I just want less than a negative sum to do with the notion. Ignorance is bliss.

Those that clamber for evidence, be thy careful.

When I was 6 or 7 I saw a steel colored Frisbee about 15 feet in the air as we were driving out of our development in Colorado. It hovered and as we drove off it just stayed there. I was going to say something but I was just confused and trying to process why someone's frisbee would be in the air (around no homes) in the Colorado mountains. I just sat puzzled and thought, "Well, that was strange."

Today, I would have written it off as a drone or some prank, but that was in 1976.

I've never seen a ghost, but I have no doubt that what Seahawk and scottmandue say about a human's understanding of our world is only scratching the surface of true reality, is absolutely true.

Also around 1976, I spent many long hours passing the time in the lobby, and halls of the Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs CO. My mother was taking upholstery classes in the basement of that hotel which spanned a few months.

Apparently this hotel is haunted. My brother and I used to shuffle our feet on the wool rugs of the lobby and holding a small piece of metal rod we would touch one of the side panel screws of an arcade game down the hall called tanks or something. The game would receive a static shock and immediately start a new game as if I'd just fed a quarter.

As a 6 year old, I just thought it was cool, I never saw anything that scared me there, even in the basement. It is now listed as a haunted hotel.

After watching The Shining with Jack Nicholson I developed a new appreciation for my old haunted hotel.

The way insects are to us may very well be the way we are something else. Ants, bugs, spiders...have no clue about the things we understand. They are pretty powerless around us. They have been around longer then we have but for some reason we advanced. We would be foolish to think there isn't something that isn't on that same scale in our relation. An insect has specific sensory organs, we have different sensory organs. Who is to say that there isn't something else out there (or right here for that matter) that has the ability to perceive so much more than us, move at a different rate, exist in a completely different realm.

In an infinite universe there are infinite possibilities ...
