Ok, I gotta ask... who you do you consider an 'unbiased' source?

As for the article, it actually crunches the numbers from what type of power source the electric comes from. Hence that EVs run from coal plants (45% of the US power base) is only 30 MPG emissions equal.

So the jist was that a traditional IC motor is a better choice until our base load supply from coal changes.

Is that the 'liberal' tree hugger conclusion you expected?
