Ultimate Ricer show

Just caught "Hi Rev Tuners" on Speed the other night - wow, what a great show. Seriously, the best looking things in the show are the women - the cars, well they are, shall we say, beyond butt ugly.

The show did give me some ideas for the P-car, though. I think I need gauges lining the passenger compartment and a DVD player in the front trunk

I agree the women (especially the blonde) are hot!! But I can't believe how much money these people spend on those cars!

Scary!

Talking about how much money is spent,
From the LA Times
Quote:
The sports compact market, which supplies performance parts and appearance equipment for cars such as the Honda Accord, the Ford Focus, the Dodge Neon and the Mitsubishi Lancer, racked up $1.5 billion in sales last year, a 25% increase over 2000, and is expected to hit $2.25 billion this year, Spoonhower said.

Re: Ultimate Ricer show

I was forced to sit thru that show by Rice Grrrl, and my IQ dropped 50 pts as a result.

Heck, I don't know about you but, I've spent a whole bunch of money on my car in the past 12 yrs. probably not as much as those guys though. What's a real bummer is those cars will eat mine(most).

I've seen this show, and it's pretty amazing how little the hosts know about cars. They showed a VW bug that had "Porsche 933" wheels, lol.

But what do you expect from a show sponsored by Pep Boys, the bastion of all automotive ignorance and evil.

Prediction: the Rice trend will be dead in 10 years.

That's five years after SUVs fade away (all except Jeep and Land Rover). Mark your calenders.
