Transporting my buddy's 914/6 to Rennsport.
Another buddy has a 962 entered too.
Should be a hoot with the R Gruppe Treffen at the same time.

Just like last time I will be hoping to see a 917/30 in action.
Did see Hurley pace lapping the Brumos 917/10 last Rennsport. :)
Or perhaps a fresh looking yellow 917/10 will run some low 1.30s or better. :cool::cool:

I'll be bringing my '72 911T. Not on the track, though.

I'll be there. Don't know which turn I'll be working. Sorry no extra ticket this time. I'm taking one day off to be a spectator.

I plan to be there to see friends and cars. I got to drive in RR IV... that was pretty cool. My second ever opportunity to drive in a paid spectator event, and first time I got to see my car on TV.

Didn't get to see as many friends as I wanted last time, and Sunday's events made me depart with mixed feelings (that was the day that Dan Weldon died).

That 917/30 video looks like it was from the historics in 1998. I was in turn 2 when it ran and spent quite a bit of time studying that car back in the day (it was local). Got some really cool up close pictures.

Sadly, the owner of that car at that time passed away prematurely as did the driver. Then not too long after that the next owner passed prematurely.

I think it is owned by a famous comedian now.

Those are special cars for sure.

What are the dates?

I have a friend and his brother who can't make it now due to unforseen family circumstances. They have two 2-day GA and paddock passes plus one Red 9 preferred parking (weekend) pass. He's looking to sell at cost. Anyone interested?

We won't be bringing a Pcar. The 944 is not up to the trip. I had hoped to be in a 996 by now, but its not in the cards. We will be flying in and renting a car. :(

Ya, but I'm not made of money or I'd just buy one! Besides, getting us and 2 kids in a small car with enough luggage for a long weekend would be nearly impossible

I'll be there too... But with the commuter... For one I predict traffic jams, and there are lots of expensive and easily removable bits on my longhood that could dissapear while I'm frolicking all over Laguna Seca! (Got a nice grill badge stolen recently so I'm careful now)

I'm flying into San Jose on Friday morning and staying somewhere in Marina.
I wasn't gonna go, but my buddy who works at the Porsche Museum is working both COTA and Laguna Seca, so I'm gonna go out and hang with him.

I will be there, camping in one of the premium trackside spots. Not sure if I'll bring the 997TT or my truck or something else though.

Figures. I'm there the week prior...

No Rv, just dirt camp'n with my Pick up truck, but will have good eats & drinks!!

Driving down some time on Thurs, will be there Fri, Sat and some of Sun. Staying at Hyatt-it was a fun place last time.
