Sounds like you picked a bad day to stop drinking......sorry to hear about your experience and for your client.

I don't know about the security at other courthouses but locally, you'll have to pass through a metal detector before entering. I think the screening people that operate the equipment are former TSA employes but I guess a little security is better than nothing.

After someone ran a stop sign into me at 60mph, and I was off work for 5 months learing how to walk again. One of the first trips I made while I was still off work was to go get a really nice replacement 944, on a 14 hour round trip drive.

Get back up on that horse and go back to work, i'm sure the courthouse security will be tightened accordingly.
