Not sure I understand your post but I took the 2 seconds to Google it for you. Almendingling got busted for meth and was suspended indefinitely. Exactly 3 years ago....

He died because he walked onto a freeway at night wearing a ninja suit.

As it turned out, he wasn't THE ONE (Neo).

AFC-911 08-11-2015 03:59 PM

Pretty sure walking onto a hot track is the reason he's dead.

Exactly. Not because he had THC in his system, which stays there forever, btw.

And no, I don't smoke weed. But some here seem to have just watched the 1947 film, "Reefer Madness" and think it turned him into a track-walking zombie.

Lol!!!!!

In TS's (limited) defense:
Today I drove a side road at speed towards the western afternoon sun.
Blinding light, shaded areas, blinding light, shaded areas, blinding light. Repeat.

A deer/person standing in the middle of that road would not have been seen until it was too late.

I just read this entire thread and EMJ has some serious issues. Don't let the facts get in your way there Bucko.

Then you really should have slowed down. Just sayin'.

Really? Care to elaborate? I can assure you I have no "issues." Fan boys just get blinded by love. Who can really prove what Stewart's intention was? Of course he didn't mean to kill the kid but to argue that Stewie isn't capable of trying to scare the kid shows just how foolish people are. Anyone who has followed his career knows that's exactly what he would do in that situation. And this is the known speculation that will probably be used in the civil suit. Not a whole lot of intelligence quotient needed, really.

Throughout the garage and to us mere fans, Stewart is a known bully and first class jerk who just happens to be a great driver. Sorry, the rest of us aren't privy to cozy steak cookouts with the guy to get to know how "nice" he is.

And who are you, Richie Cunningham of Happy Days? I haven't heard anyone called "Bucko" in 30 years. I think you might want to time warp from 1979.

Very dramatic, we'll put you in the fan boy camp. And a nice stretch - I never said I hate the guy but he comes off as a very not nice and very angry guy. I don't worship people, even if they're famous, who treat others badly and are bullies. Might be your thing, not mine. Dale, Jr, Jeff Gordon, Matt Kenseth - all classy dudes. More my speed.

Least favorite Driver: Hamlin - big cry baby whiner. Was Kurt Busch until I realized he's a basket case with serious mental issues.

speeder 08-11-2015 05:49 PM

I'm glad we got that settled.

URY914 08-11-2015 06:09 PM

EMJ, what is your problem? Did TS kick your dog? Piss on your tire?
Give it a rest.....

You're correct.
Thank you.
No excuse except the mental pressure of 4 o'clock traffic behind.

I crested one hill at 40mph while in conversation and a couple of college girls popped up in the weeds on the right, only a feet feet from the road and trying to cross the street. These heartstoppers don't make my day.

gordner 08-11-2015 06:21 PM

Seems very unlikely that is the case given the amount of scrutiny the video went through to come to the conclusion that is not what occurred, and from what I have read it is an opinion not shared by the professional drivers that witnessed the event.
Tony may be a hot head but Ward was clearly the dumbest guy on that track that night.
And if he smoked with any regularity, MJ even as close as two hours before would have contributed very little to his stupidity, it seems he was the real hot head out there disregarding his own safety and that of the other racers by running around on an active race track in the dark.

No, Ury, he was involved in a horrible fatal accident on the track and continues to act recklessly on the track after the fact, showing me he didn't really learn anything, and is still endangering other drivers. Anger and hotheadedness aren't a good combination going 200mph with 42 other drivers. Sometimes you gotta hang it up. Why are you struggling to understand this?

Prior to the fatal accident Stewart was for at least two years repeatedly calling out drivers in post race interviews with threats to wreck them if they got in his way. This was occurring almost weekly right up until the accident. Anyone who follows NASCAR knows this.

Agree 100%.

When it comes to Tony Stewart, the story ends with EMJ puttin' him in the wall.
