No way. Sorry. When most of the people using the term have no idea of the actual origin (Ted actually was buying spoons), it is just pathetic and lame. The fact that that is what has happened, is just another example of Ted pushing you all down the stairs.

Never mind the fact that using some cute word to euphemize a deadly weapon, or speak in "code", is just infantile.

Another peeve from the board: dropping the 's' from 'Fuchs' when referring to a single wheel.

Well I have to confess, every time I hear some electronic medical records support person say the word, "workflow," I get the strong urge to either jump out a window or throttle the life out of them. It is quite the conundrum for me.

You can view it as pathetic and lame, but most things "Ted" amuse me greatly, aside from that Seth MacFarland vehicle with the stuffed animal and Marky Mark, that sort of blew chunks.


Generally, the only time I drop the "s" is when I say something like, "Fuch me with a chainsaw"
