Lion Lures Man into Park and Kills Him
It now looks like one of Cecil's contemporaries has succeeded in luring professional guide Quinn Swales into Hwange National Park before ruthlessly killing him right in front of other park guests. This heinous act was, we must emphasize, carried out within park boundaries, where all such hunting is strictly forbidden.
Fortunately, our suspect is known to be wearing a radio collar, which will no doubt aid in bringing him to justice. He won't be able to hide out for long. It didn’t specify which of the lions attacked him but noted that one member of the pride, named Nxaha, wore a tracking collar, as Cecil did. Nxaha is, of course, expected to deny any wrongdoing. He will likely claim he had no way of knowing where the park boundaries are, nor, therefor, that he was was in a park that does not allow hunting. As well, his suspected accomplices in laying down the attractant tracks through the brush have no doubt found refuge in the larger pride, and may be difficult to identify. No one is saying a word... They are all pretending nothing happened...
