I'd rather see it as a multi-track railway.

So the several miles of Arctic ocean crossing is gonna be rather pricy.

I'm thinking a rubber roadway, so it doesn't get torn up by the tank tracks...

Another alternative would be to invent a bus or railcar-like vehicle that could fly through the air.

Dear Pelican Parts:

I just bought a 1878 Porsche in London, England. The owner swears it started just fine after sitting for 17 years. I can fly over, and drive it back on the Trans Eurasian Highway. I live on the east coast of the U.S. in Virginia. I've always wanted to see the Siberian gulags, and what better way to get to know my new car.

Anybody done this? What tools should I take? Spare relays? Advice?

***Also- I was thinking of taking a detour south to Pripyat for some cheesy HDR pics- has anyone done this? How long would it add onto my drive?
