Bat

Have had a car for sale on Craigslist for a couple weeks with minimal tire kickers.
All of a sudden yesterday and today my email has been blowing up with inquiries.
Curious why all of a sudden things took off.
Finally one inquiry indicated he saw the ad on BAT.
Just an FYI for anybody trying to sell a vehicle.

Which BAT ad?

I find BAT has jumped the shark...so many auctions and commercialization I've lost interest. But I still visit once a day...

Someone reported it to BAT so you fell into the "by the way" section of BAT, which use to be *all* they were (reporting classic cars for sale everywhere), but now they've gone full-on auctions...

Love it or hate it (the comments on cars are pretty rough at times, and not always accurate, but nothing worse than the OT forum) !
I'm gonna put my 68 912 on there in a couple weeks - I'm already bracing myself for the peanut gallery comments ! Not a porsche friendly bunch but lotsa traffic... Actually I might try pelican first ;-)

This thread sent me over for a look at BAT.
Where I found this 1980 S C. With 3.2 engine.
Its got less than a day to go, and is at 14K now.
That seems pretty good considering all that is there.

Any pelicans in the Phily area looking for a S C.

Now at $17.5 SC with 3.2 engine converted to carbs. Repaint. Weird exhaust. Stopped odometer. No fuchs. Any guesses on final price?

I've given up on submitting, I used to frequently send links to cool and unique cars and never saw them listed. I've considered trying one of their auctions, it's definitely the right audience for interesting cars.

I've given them excellent listings as well that they ignored. And then they post some total crap. Go figure.
