^ I read that and just went "Wow".
I am the kind of guy that the PUR dude would want to sell to. I would not enjoy that type of relationship. In fact, I try to go above and beyond for my customers and my crew. I come last in my own eyes. I think your idea was sound. I do not knock your logic at all. |

Just out out curiosity:
1). Did they provide a copy of existing contracts? If the previous salesperson was 'making $120K/yr' that is bank. But nobody gives away a 'sure thing' to strangers unless they have no friends or family. 2). The other question I had also involves verified sales. What internet resources are out there to determine PUR corporate profits, specifically local profits? Flavored juice water in the southwest seems like it would have a lot of potential but there are other factors. Big cans of Arizona sell for consistently $.99 because it's printed on the can. If the corner stores are mostly marking PUR up to $2.50 it would kill the volume. The $.49 overhead and minimum purchase seem like warning flags. But I don't know. |
