Halloween 2015

Who's dressing up and going out? We are about to take the kiddos trick or treating, but we (Mrs. LedHed and I) went to a grown up party last night.

The missus and I are going as Sherlock Holmes and Irene Adler from the BBC series Sherlock.

Not us, but the look we'll be going with except that I'll also have his deerstalker and scarf. In Houston, I just couldn't manage the wool double breasted coat.

Like I said, I've got the hat and scarf.

Not trying for a particular member, just shooting for the "Poison" hair metal look in general.

Masraum:
Great costume idea! I'd love to see some actual photos.

Pretty much nailed it, I'd say.

Not me - stuck at home tonight. Not even a single trick-or-treater...

Went to a party, took the kids out with some of the other dads. One hour of walking through neighborhoods trying to keep a slew of little kids from being ran over and/or lost. I will not miss this holiday.

We stayed at home and had 60 kids trick or treating us. The most we have ever had. Next big event is Christmas.

I only got 20 or so kids. The neighbors had a campfire going in their yard so we ended up there. What to do with the leftover candy...again.

Only a handful of kids came by after I went back with the little one last night. Seems like it isn't quite the same as when I was a kid. Half or more houses had the porch light off, the universal sign for "no candy here." I wonder if people are taking the kids to organized parties rather than walking around their 'hood... Thoughts?

Here's a couple more that my wife put together. Last night was fun with the kids.

That's the smart money! Get stuff you like in case of leftovers.

We took the boys to spend the evening with their cousins. We do that every year, but always leave a cauldron of candy on our front porch. It's always empty when we come home... .
