Animal Sacrifice...not enough?

Family of Ejected Driver Sacrificed a Lamb to 'Protect Him From Evil' Days Before Fatal Crash

Its sad someone had to die like this but the practice of sacrificing animals is just stupid, foolish and frankly evil. The two incidents are not related other then maybe this guy thought he was bulletproof...

Pananian even used a seatbelt more commonly seen in race cars.

Too bad he didn't wear his fancy seatbelt that day. I'm still amazed when I see someone not wearing one.

I've driven well over a million miles, maybe closer to two.
And I have NEVER been in a sitch where I needed a seat belt to save me.

"In the Armenian culture sacrifices are done when someone escapes death, as Richards life was once sared [sic]," (not his first "incident".)

The family of a Los Angeles driver who was killed when he crashed his car and was ejected 20 feet in the air into a freeway sign had only days before performed an animal sacrifice they hoped would protect the 20-year-old from harm.

Richard Pananian died on Friday when he was tossed from his small Ford after crashing into another vehicle while driving at what California Highway Patrol called a high rate of speed. His body was found on an interstate sign above the wreckage.

This Darwin award winner was most likely the dumbest, most careless, most clueless, worst driver ever to hit the freeways of California.

HAD to be. He was hauling ass on the freeway, and that was too much for the tool to control. He couldn't even avoid hitting another vehicle ahead of him.

NO ONE rolls a car over and over and ends up on a sign 20 feet in the air.
This is not about a tragedy, or a sacrifice, it's about an IDIOT PUNK RICKY RACER who could not control a vehicle and should have never been allowed to get behind the wheel. Maybe if daddy whupped his ass more when he was young ........

Hard to understand a crash like this, isn't it. As noted, apparently the victim was speeding, crashed into the rear of a pickup, after which his car - a Focus, or something like that - tumbled up the bank adjacent to the section of Interstate 5 right near Griffith Park. Because this guy was not wearing the fancy five-point seatbelts he'd installed in conjunction with what has been described as "a racing seat," he was ejected. A news photographer I know who rolled to the scene said that only "part" of him landed up there on the sign, calling to mind a particularly grisly scene. It all seems like irresponsibility stacked upon irresponsibility, mixed with a blatant disregard for the driver's safety or that of anyone else. Seems like if the family really wanted to protect this guy from harm, they would have taken away his car keys.

As an aside, it's also been reported that the family is attempting to crowd-fund $50,000 in an attempt to meet what have been referred to as "unexpected expenses." Hard to figure all this out.

That drive is for sure a Darwin winner.

I guess they sacrificed the wrong animals. They should have sacrificed a rhino to really protect the driver.

That's not hard to figure out at all: nowadays any event is an opportunity to cyber-beg

And what's the likelihood that the "racing seatbelt" and "racing seat" were installed incorrectly!?

This guy is getting zero sympathy from the Focus ST board I'm on. (He was behind the wheel of a black 2015 Focus ST). Someone did post a video of him from youtube, where he and dumb friend were showing how to purchase ISO alcohol (Presumably to make hash). What I can't understand is the 50K....There's no way on earth a burial would cost that much.

And the cousin who revealed the GOFUNDME page? Last name of Kardashian...

Probably no relation but the coincidence of last names to the Kardashian attention whore/train wreck clan is a bit startling.
