Anyone know what speaker company logo is (A)? Pic inside.

Someone posted speakers for sale on my local Facebook page with virtually no info. Seller says she doesn't know the brand, but sent this pic. Any ideas?

Logo does not seem even vaguely familiar.

White van speakers?

The known list is too long to go through.

Really only one question.. Does it sound good? If so, don't worry about who made it

Yeah... I'm leaning toward white van too. She was really elusive about brand price she paid. Finally admitted she paid $125 for the pair. That was about all I needed to know. Thanks for the help. I know there's a lot of good equipment out there that I've never heard of so I get more excited when I don't recognize the brand than when I do.

Somebody told me they were aproached by a white van the other day.............of course I finished there sentence for them: they tried to sell you speakers right?

This must be one of the longest running scams ever, I remember hearing about it for the last 30 years.

Definitely white-van garbage. I believe that particular logo is for "Acoustic Image" speakers, which have been a staple in the white-van inventory for years.

I was approached by these con men while growing up in East LA. Dadz came out with his shotgun and suggested that they hit the bricks. The cop across the street came over with a few beers and we had a good chuckle.

Ha, Ha! 30+ years ago, a roomie came home with a TV boxed up like that, a shell with a few bricks inside, bought at a 7-11 from a white van, literally!

That white van sounds like a local problem with door to door meat salesmen. I can even wrap my mind around buying frozen meat, something I plan to eat, from a door to door salesman. Evidently a few people have and they might get a few decent steaks but some are just horrible and the salesman is of course long gone.

The sale of meat door to door is only legal with a special permit and inspections from the health department. None of the salesmen do it legally and they seem to stay a step ahead of the police most of the time. Every so often they catch one and not much really happens to them.

Yep, Acoustic Image. Definitely a budget speaker.

From audioreview.com: "Product Description
Basic floor speakers

Possible Fraud Alert
A large number of users have reported these speakers are being sold well above their intrinsic value under false pretences in parking lots, flea markets and online auctions. See White Van Speaker Scam for more info."

I had someone try the white van speakers thing with me 20 years ago. The idiots had no idea that the building was O'Reilly Auto parts on the small side, the county court and detention center on the big side. How anybody can miss the 20 sheriff's cars in the parking lot is beyond me.

Logo design of this caliber doesn't come free.

I also guess that its a pretty fine line between selling complete crap for more than its worth and fraud...........

Its quite fun that this has gone on for so long. It makes me wonder where they got such crappy speakers in the early 80s, absurdly crappy chinese made items are way more prevelant these days.

That's the A Hole logo. Was the seller using arcane or complicated language?
