vintage medium format lens on a DSLR????
well sure, why the heck not!
--- do you shoot on M? you will have to so get yer exposure triangle down- --- do you have a DSLR that has a full frame sensor? crop factor on some of the glass I am using is .6 ---- not saying a ASP-c sensor wont work, but you will have better results. --- so next go to the interwebs and find a "Zeiss Jena Flektogon 4/50 with Pentacon six mount" you are looking for the "zebra" lens. --- Next get a adapter, I needed a Nikon F and it was about $20 have fun-- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() oh---- if you are wondering what made that image different; it's the glass. it was made with Thorium Dioxide- and yes---- it is radioactive--

Ah...real glass...a feature often lost on modern cameras (both in quantity/diameter and quality of optics). I know, I know - new cameras do some amazing things and the optical quality is superior in a smaller size format, but to me the shots just are not as "warm" as those from the old lenses.
Great shots! |

I've got a bunch of old Pentax 6x7 glass that I want to hang off of my modern FX nikons - been looking at "free-lensing" or other ways to play tilt/shift and take advantage of the larger image circle.
Nothing radioactive though. ![]()
