No, I don't own this.

To try to stay faithful to the thread...

This is something that I do own, headphones for a walkman from ~1983 that you can carry inside the walkman (assuming there's no cassette in it. The walkman is long gone.

I still own an use a Leica R8 with DMR. I bought the DMR in 2006.
That's ancient as far as digital cameras go.

It's been 100% reliable and I don't think I'll ever part with it.

A recent example. (Summilux R 80mm F1.4)

The beast!

I have lots of tektites. This is terrestrial material ejected during the bolide impact - my parent's back yard is full of them. Their point of impact was found below Chesapeake Bay about 35 million years ago.

They're basically dark brownish, dense lumpy rocks about the size of a walnut. Obviously different from the white Texas hill country limestone so I noticed them when I was still a little kid.

I have a bunch of dinosaur fossils I bought from a paleo about 20 years ago, when my kid was into it. They've lived in a shoebox ever since then. I should dig them out and take a photo.

I bought a Spanish galleon sort of coin from a flea market about 35 years ago. I don't remember the details. I looked up the value about 15 years ago and it was quite high - many thousands of $$$. I dug through my house for 2 weeks and could never find the little bugger. I have no idea if I still have it or not.

Mine is a $2.50 gold coin my great grandmother gave my grandfather to carry went he went to France in WWI. He wore it on a chain around his neck. He said it was to buy himself out of trouble it needed. It was the only thing he every told me about the war.

My next item to post:

I found this at a yard sale many years ago and was planning on giving it as a gag Christmas gift. However, I just couldn't part with it. It's getting its first use on this thread.

I'll trade for the mini Jeep and Tank

I have a buffalo skull in my front yard. It belongs to my ex wife. She had to have it when she left husband #3 but it smelled and she couldn't put it in her apartment. Been there 8 years now.

I used to have a gold watch which was given to my great uncle by the towns people where he lived for his service in WWI. One of my sons friends decided to become a junkie and it grew legs.

Not sure if this is THE MOST unusual thing I own - but it's probably in the "Top Ten".

Anybody out there that can identify? I'd be surprised if any other pelicans have seen or used one before. Surprise me!

I was there when they were demolishing the pits at Sebring to replace them with the current building. I grabbed a light and chunk of the old concrete. I wish they could talk. Can you imagine the stories they could tell?
