Tinned Copper Termainal Lugs or Just Copper?
Upgrading the starter & ground cables on my Ducati Hyper with 4 AWG and am seeking advice on Tinned or straight 100% copper lugs.
I've read that tinning assists in corrosion aversion... does tinning reduce bonding contact? OK to use the heavy duty 100% copper lugs? Yes, I'll use adhesive shrink tubing. The Marine world uses tinned copper to alleviate corrosion.

The little felt pads (red and green) that go on the terminals work very well to prevent corrosion.
But let's be realistic, on a motorcycle in a warm climate anything mildly conductive will be fine. A diesel car in the north is another issue entirely...
