I love the smell of carbureted exhaust.

Also...I went to college at Creighton in Omaha. Campbell's soup factory is/was downtown and made the whole area smell like vegetable soup sometimes.

Not sure if this counts.................................... as a kid in the mid-60's when my Mom would drive to the local Gulf gas station and have the attendant fill the car up with premium in the summer. As soon as he removed the nozzle and started to fill, then came to the front to clean the windshield(!) that aroma...................................!!!!!!

Freshly laid tar and asphalt.................................

Depends upon what your "industry" is, I suppose. I deal with a lot of migrant farm workers.

Agriculture isn't really considered Industry.

Yeah, I get what you're saying/writing, but there's still an industry to farming. There's still quite a bit of packaging and transportation that's necessary to get crops to the market.

I like fresh air, neutral - natural outside, sometimes fresh cut grass. Wifey likes the smell of skunk and the residual exhaust of race fuel. Not kidding.

If anyone has had the experience of driving down Bandini Blvd. in the city of Commerce in the summer, that IS NOT my favorite industrial smell.

Maybe in bizarro world it would be.
