Why don'tcha cut your dick off too? You get premium $$$ with those items and have to discount $$$ without....and everything gets sold eventually.

An analogy you have a 3 bedroom house...why not tear one bedroom down because you are not using it? You really should know better.

You sold it, I hope you really needed the money?

Then I'll have my "N" frame line up complete.

5 screw, 4 Screw, or 3 screw (S Prefix or N prefix SN)? Everyone that I have seen came with Target Hammer and Target Trigger.

$850 to $3500.

Who are you to judge? If you didn't like stupid, you wouldn't play in PARF, and yet...

Seriously, if a guy wants to sell off some stuff he doesn't use, nor wants to use, why in the heck would you care?

Come to think of it I'd like an H&K MP5 (in 9mm) to add to my previous list. I have a few other 9mm eaters but that one in particular would be pretty nice - especially a full-auto version.

Retailers are blowing out the P250 because nobody wants them. SIG, in their infinite wisdom, decided that reason people didn't want P250s is because they are hammer-fired. So they made a version that's striker-fired and called it the P320. Frankly, it is a thoroughly mediocre pistol at best (I own one, as a kind of experiment), especially considering that the key selling point--interchangeable frames, barrels, slides--are basically vaporware unless you order directly from SIG.

SIG's best stuff was German. I'd love an X5 or an X6 (or both). But in the past 5-10 years or so they seem to have lost their way--there's a lot of "throw it out there and see if it sticks" in their product offerings.

This is timely and helpful. A Sig has been on my hit list but was not sure what I wanted. I think I'll focus on looking for a used P229. Thoughts on that gentlemen?

The 226 is larger than what I want..

I'd reconsider that. I've had a P229 and two P226s. I recall the P229 being bulkier than the P226 and, with the shorter barrel, a little less accurate. I've never met anyone who didn't like a P226. That and the P220 are two of the finest handguns ever made.

I sold the one I had... I had owned it for about a decade and shot it quite a bit. Obviously a very nice piece but it was due for a tune up and I did not want to put money into so I sold it for 3 times what I paid for it and moved on. It's what we do..buy and sell things, some times we regret it sometime we don't.

BlueSkyJaunte 12-07-2015 05:32 PM

The branding and "owners' club" BS about the P226 Legion is over the top, but I will say this - it's a VERY nice handspoon. The trigger is great.

I really want a P225 but I can't justify a single stack 9mm that isn't a subcompact...or a P210.

JavaBrewer 12-07-2015 09:25 PM

M1a Scout, a really nice 12 gauge over under sporting kit, and a Benelli 12 gauge semi auto. Since CA removed the plastic M&P line throw in one of those in .45

The new P226 with the rail is super nice feeling. Makes my older model look very dated.

Here's mine. Got it at Cabela's for $499 in new condition with night sights. I had Robar put NP3 on it during one of their sales. Love this gun.
