That is a car that has no appeal whatsoever to me. Could it be any more different in spirit than the original?

The original NSX did not impress me either. Hit my head getting in, didn't rev up hard like it should, almost like a sports car on valium.

Acura is on track to ramp up 2017 NSX production to meet their world-wide target market of Jerry Seinfeld, Jay Leno, and some guy in Abu Dhabi.

It never was a big seller. When they quit selling them the production was low!

Parts they don't have in common with other Hondas are pricey for them too

I'm so disappointed in what has become of Acura. In the early days they used to be a worthy BMW competitor (even if they were front wheel drive...). The last several years have produced nothing but bloated luxo barges with very little sport. The new NSX doesn't stir anything in me either.
They even lost my wife as a customer - her last six or seven new cars have all been Acuras until last year.

Acura basically now sells rebadged Hondas. I agree it's a damn shame, the Integra was an incredible car as was the original NSX.

Maybe they're still following BMW's lead?

I remember running with the old NSX's at the track but they we're slugs.

My integra was far and away the best front wheel drive car I have ever driven. Made a great noise, had a sweet shifter and was so easy to control. I wish I still had it

Now in 993 land ...

You can keep that thing. Big heavy pig, all electronic dash, paddles shifter ... glad it got slammed in the review.
This is why all the old iron is going through the roof. The old NSX certainly won't be an exception. Nice track BTW. ![]() G |

You forget all Acura’s have always been pure Honda. Acura was a badge invented for the North American market. The rest of the world got Honda Integra’s and Honda NSX’s, they just slapped on Acura badges for NA. The 08-12 RoW Accord was sold as the Acura TSX here, while we got a different dumbed down version badged as the Accord here.

It is ugly. I had a 95 NSX-T. I liked that styling.
