Steve Harvey and Miss Universe

OMG...what an effup! Guess he won't be the MC next year. Check it out on YouTube. Unbelievable.

I feel bad for him because he seems like a really nice guy but holy balls, how do you mess that up? You have one job to do, announce the winner of the pageant and he craps the bed.

He should have stuck with just eating crackers.

On the bright side, this is the best thing that could have ever happened to a runner up. And to the entire pageant for that matter. Everybody involved handled the situation with great grace.

The young lady from Columbia who they jerked around really did handle it with remarkable aplomb. Pretty hot too, which I guess goes without saying.

At least for this century anyway:

"Dewey Defeats Truman" was an incorrect banner headline on the front page of the Chicago Daily Tribune on November 3, 1948, the day after incumbent United States President Harry S. Truman won an upset victory over Republican challenger and Governor of New York Thomas E. Dewey in the 1948 presidential election.

I really feel for Ms Colombia and Steve H.

For Colombia, that would be a huge emotional crush.

For Steve, I'm sure it's HUGELY embarrassing, and I suspect he feels pretty ****ty about the turmoil he caused for Colombia too.

I was talking to a friend in Barranquilla while all this was happening. When he announced Miss Colombia, everyone was out in the streets cheering and celebrating. Then he made the correction, and evidently the crowd ah, got a little ugly.

My response which came to mind was, "wait, Miss Universe, that's still a thing?!"....yeah I kept that to myself.
