I'm thinking of doing corrugated steel for the interior walls with tongue and groove pine ceiling. Any thoughts?
Something like this with the pine ceiling... ![]() Here is my layout possibly... ![]()

I was in a garage that had shiny corrugated steel walls. The lighting requirements were minimal. Consider doing the ceiling in the same material. The light reflects off the ceiling almost making a shadow free work area.

I have done a ceiling with corrugated before and it looks nice. That being said, in your situation, I would go with a corrugated ceiling and pine walls. Reason being, if you wanted to hang pictures, posters, signs, tools etc... corrugated sucks and once you put a hole in it, it is there forever.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Still up in the air as far as what to do for the walls. Putting the steel on the ceiling is a thought.
Here is the framing started... ![]()

I've personally seen pole barn white metal sheeting used on the interior walls and ceiling of a shop and it is pretty sweet.
Check over on garagejournal.com for lots of other options and examples BTW, nice build! |

I'm leaning towards metal on the angled sides of the ceiling with wood in the peak. And then metal about 4 ft up the wall and wood from there, with one area metal all the way for grinding.
