And the safe seperation timer...
And here are a few pictures of the car after the blast. The components I put in the bomb were simply meant to leave evidence behind that the agents could reassemble.

And the last one... here if you look under the steering wheel you can see where the pipe bomb tore through the tunnel and shattered a large portion of the transmission. The torque converter is exposed and some of the gears. This was all done by 1.25 lbs of C-4 in the pipe. All in all a good day.

I never thought I would read a thread starting out with "Here's a bomb i built . . . "
How much for the sideview mirror? . . ..when they find it. . .and do I need to pay sales tax, if they find it in Oregon? ![]() On the design; What's the plastic-wrap on the outside of the pipe? Also, is the clock there to provide the "safe separation" prior to the remote detonation? I wouldnt want to wire that thing. BTW, I am soo glad I drive an SC. If this is what you mean by "full blowage;" I certainly wouldn't want to be a carrera type.

That looks like great fun! Of course, it's only fun and games until someone loses an eye or other body appendage!
Seriously, though, congratulations on the wedding!

Mr. Pate, I think you're my favorite Pelicanhead, but I'm not sure I want you to know that I still have a long hood. Scary to think of getting on your bad side.

It's actually scary to think of how easy it is to build a bomb.
