NHL All-Stars Skills and Games

The skills competition last night was OK. Nothing remarkable. I was hoping that Scott would give Weber a run for his money in the hardest shot. (Of course we all know that BRUIN Zdeno Chara still has the all time record of



Anyone going to watch the All-Stars games today? It could be interesting to see an entire 20 minutes of 3 on 3.

John Scott is the best thing that's happened to the NHL allstar game in like forever. A great guy and I hope he benefits somehow from all this.

Well lets see, he got
- a new car
- a share of one million dollars
- endorsement offers

Yeah, I'd say he did O.K.

It was cool that J.R. publicly admitted he was wrong in being against Scott being there. That said, I have a feeling next year's voting will be different. I'm thinking the league or the teams give the fans some choices but not a wide open option. John Scott is a major embarrassment to them since he is officially a minor league player.

Oh and if you missed the games. You missed out BIGTIME. 1-0 final game for the money was intense.

A couple of the games before the final were a little slow. But ya that last one really picked up! I like the format. 3v3 will insipire shinny style hockey. Nobody wants to get smacked around by their buddies so I think the effort went up a couple notches.
