Coolest $20 tool i've bought in a LONG time

This just in from Amazon. A $20 usb cam with led's. This puppy is awesome.

Pic is a box of large paper clips just to give an idea how close it can focus. Got this after watching a youtube guy, chrisfix, do a test of fuel system cleaners. he scoped each cylinder, ran the stuff then scoped again. Awesome gadget for $20!

Plugs into USB port on PC. The wheel you see is for adjusting brightness of the LED's.

OK, so you brag about a cool new toy and you give no link to where I can get one like it?

Meanie!

Have one of these too as well as a shorter one with a more rigid yet bendable neck. Both are hugely handy for checking piston tops and valves via an engine's plug hole and ports. Also great to check for rust in sills, condition of a petrol tank... The list is endless!

I was looking at it on Amazon and our company pilot walked by my desk. I asked if he had a neat toy like that. I showed him the "high dollar" 15 MP version for 27 bucks. He handed me the 27 dollars cash and I ordered one with my Prime. It will be here Monday.

It does look like a neat toy, er, um tool!

I am going to the butt head to derail this thread. Thanks goodness its made in China for only 20 bucks. None of you, myself included, would never buy this if it was made in the US due to the cost.

I can use something like it, totally cool.

Just think of the all uses in porn, and no I'm not going to google that.

here's a direct from China source I often use, free shipping on most items.

super cheaper than Amazon, many models / options, including magnetic pickup tip...nice feature!

It would be nice to poke the camera down the spark plug hole. I'm always curious how much carbon is in there and whether I need to drive it harder or not.

Man, this is exactly what I wanted - I was wondering just the other day if I could pick up something reasonable to check a hidden body cavity in my Fiat.

Wonder if an "IMF" decal comes in the box?

Dropped it in my Honda scooter cylinder. Good pic. Can't wait to do truck and boat.

I would have killed for a borescope a few times in my wrenching career. Back then it would be a fiber bundle for $500 which you'd look through directly.

Now I know what to get, next time I need to look into a chamber. (Knock on wood I won't any time soon!)

Thanks for the tip. I've been wanting something like this for a long time. Last time I looked the price was hundreds of dollars. I'm glad I waited.
