Ever play "The Incredible Machine"?? Great game for kids.

Hey all,

Used to play this relentlessly when I was a kid. I think it is pretty educational in the way it establishes logical flows and how things work. I've got my little brother hooked on it. We play it together and I'll ask him why he thinks certain things should be placed.

Check it out! The dos version is free. Just intall Dosbox emulator and find the program.

You can even play it online it seems! Although it runs way better in dosbox.

Download The Incredible Machine - My Abandonware

Fond memories and highly recommend

Played with my son 20 years ago when he was young. Great game and really stresses the thought process. My son spent hours playing. Have to believe it set the foundation for his love of physics and ultimate selection of a career as a Mechanical Engineer.

Thanks for providing the update info.

If you read the Wikipedia page, in 2013 they released Contraption Maker. I've gotta check it out next...

None that I'm aware of. TIM is the original! I'll take a look though

We downloaded Crazy Machines and I have been playing it with my 5 year old. He doesn't fully understand the logic but loves it.
