Anyone ever stacked racedeck ?

I'm going to racedeck (or similar) my floor. I've got a scissor lift and an butt-ugly wood ramps. I was wondering, if I tile around the lift (cut off the side egdes), and create a second layer of racedeck and snap it together around the lift, possibly screw in place, glue, both... Use their nice little transition edging pieces.. I might be able to take the 5" height of the lift down to 4" or even 3.5, if I stack 2 or 3 layers total... have myself a nicer ramp than the ugly wood.. anyone tried that ? the width is right...

Seems like alot of money to buy all the additional tiles, and trim just to prevent having a moveable (and hideable) set of ramps. The tile would be permanently on your garage floor, and may prove to be in the way of some future projects, it also sounds to me like a potential tripping hazard.

Done. Better idea seems to be to tile (racedeck) my ugly wood ramps. Not a bad idea.. Paint the side, done.
