Well, I need to amend the title to No Canadians OR BRUINS.
 I have a feeling that Julian is toast and Marchand will be playing somewhere else next year.

That is the hockey gods getting even with you for starting a thread with that title!
They (the hockey gods) are from Canada after all. Not only did Bruins lose when the playoff season was on the line. They lost big... I hope we see Marchand playing in Europe next year!

I can think of a few guys facing buy-outs or forced & premature retirements who'll be plying their trade/talents in Europe next year. It seems the so-called youth movement is first & foremost in the plans of the teams which failed to make the cut this year. There are a few interesting storylines in a couple of series - Hawks/Blues eg.

At least you can be proud that the big bad Bruins were not leading the race to the bottom!
The Bs had a shot at the playoffs unlike most of the Canadian teams that were statistically eliminated from the playoffs at the end of January.... Still I guess they (Boston) have a remote shot of winning the draft lottery! How is that for excitement!

 I'm wondering if losing the last two has rekindled some bad memories for Ovi and the boys. I still think they'll make the 2nd round but not sure past that.

I can't speak for any of you who may be Hawks fans on how you may have felt last evening, but it started to look more than a bit bleak for us & the boys at the end of the first period. Their comeback has become a team trademark of sorts. This obviously (& hopefully) sets the stage for one helluva game in St. Lou. on Mon. I think I'll alter my schedule for this one. Go Hawks! I just hope the Canadian network play-by-play broadcasters aren't those two semi-functional literates we seem to have foisted upon us far too often. Enjoy the game Gents.

 The Wild are going down in flames as we speak. The Blackhawks have momentum but if they were running on adrenaline it may have been used up. Goaltending will make or break game 7
