Blue Bloods--anybody else watch this?

We found BB through "Wahlburgers". We don't usually like the same type of shows but this one works.

She was a NKOTB fan back in the day. I was NOT but like others watched Tom Selleck in Magnum PI.

For me, the family dynamic is more entertaining than the police work.

Anyone else enjoy the show?

I don't watch much TV, but Blue Bloods is one of the few shows I watch. One of my top 5

That's funny Cliff!

Something weird I noticed i that when they come back after commercial and they show the police HQ there is always somebody going nuts with a siren. Must be an inside joke for the producers.

I used to make promos for this show. I like it, though they do hit you over the head with the religious point of view of the family.

I'm not real religious but that aspect doesn't bother me.

I do like the family dinner discussions on what they think is right / wrong from a cop & lawyers side of things. I just don't think it was necessary to show them praying before the meal nearly every episode just to drive home the point that the family is wholesome.

Just my opinion. I haven't seen anything past S3, so that may no longer be the case with the more recent episodes.

I doesn't really bother me per se, I just don't think it's completely necessary.

I don't want to PARF the thread but I'm an atheist and this aspect has never bothered me. It's portrayed as the family's culture, and it seems as valid to show that as a show with Muslims showing the family going to a mosque or Jews celebrating Passover. It would be weird for a family as religious as the Reagans to NOT be shown practicing their religion as much as they do. (Almost as weird as the youngest STILL being a beat cop.)

As for the show itself - I tend to catch it via Netflix, so I'm always a season behind. It's enjoyable, but it's not Must See for me.

The show's pilot episode is on later today on WGN. We started watching just a couple of weeks ago and have not seen it.

For you that saw last night's episode>>why did Danny go to the church in the last scene? Obviously, he is bothered by something but I didn't get what it is.

I didn't see the Bullitt car episode yet.

Just watched an episode where Jamie is starting his undercover work and the guy he took to the hospital has a Carrera 4s. Another episode had the bad guy driving a Cayenne Turbo.

Janko's kind cute, by the way.

Bullitt episode was from last year and was interesting, but I don't think it was the real car. Jamie goes undercover in the 2nd or 3rd season. With the CTT, didn't you like Danny opening up the door panels. lol

Yeah, the fit and finish just wasn't up to par on the CTT.

I thought they ALL had secret drug smuggling panels from the factory.
