The way a lawsuit works is that everyone is named at first, then parties (defendants), start to drop out.
I think you should use the construction defects period as one reason why you should drop out, but that's premature. You might be just getting a notice to appear, and not be named in the complaint. |

What does your network say about the claim? What is the alleged date of occurrence? The insurance carrier of the construction company is already on this. If it is a continuous event - meaning multiple years of occurrence, you could have several companies. I think you need to find out who is named in the claim. If you are personally named, caution. Barring that, the insurance carrier will pay for your defense.
