I hear it has really been scaled back this year with the oil glut and all. Back in the late 1970s and early 80s I worked for a company that had a booth there every year. As I recall, it was always a great place to girl watch. Many companies went out of their way to hire hot women to staff their booths. It was really a treat to pace the floors and watch babes trying to peddle oil field equipment.

I bet attendance will be down. We were able to get deals and a very good booth location "last minute", about 4 months ago.

Im not sure if I will go this year or not, Usually I have a half dozen meetings with out of towners during OTC week but this year I havent heard from anyone

Yes, I'll be there tomorrow all day. Only walking the show and I hear that there are not as many attending compared to last year. I'll be the one in the Tungum shirt.
