From my wife:
On your car club they ask how to get eggs not to stick when boiling them. You use as vegetable steamer and steam them and they don't stick.

Crack fresh eggs into a hot skillet with olive oil. Wait till the white is white. Remove and put on plate with very crispy bacon and buttered toast to sop up the yoke.
Thats how I eat hard boiled eggs...

My father used to soft boil eggs and crack them into a bowl with butter, salt, and pepper.
Then sop them up with toast. I love eating them that way, too.

I think that is "sunnyside up". I flip them over and make em "over easy" with a semi-solid yolk. The egg goes on top of the crispy toast so that when you cut it open, the yolk flows onto the toast.
Try scrambled eggs with mayonaise beat into them instead of margarine or milk. Or my favorite, french style omelette. The key there is to use enough butter, which is actually quite a lot. |
