Yep, got a robo call on my voicemail "this is our final warning!".
Funny, because there were no previous warnings.

We got one and laughed about it.

I do know for a fact that the real IRS sends a letter in the US mail, not a phone call. BTDT.

We get the same here.

Started about 3 weeks ago, but didn't get any last week. Hopefully it's stopped for now.
Automated call, got a bit nastier about every 2nd call, basicly saying that if we didn't return the call we were going to jail and they were going to seize our property.
Well spoken but definitely can tell there's an east indian accent.

Wife called the cops and was told it's a scam and tracing them is a game of whack-a-mole.
Same thing here, if you have a problem with the the tax man they will send you a letter first.

I enjoy messing with the scam callers (when its a real person). Recently got a call from "microsoft" about how my computer contacted them and told them it had a virus. I pressed the caller about how exactly my computer contacted them (its turned off, not connected to internet, etc). The caller persisted, then I told them my computer is a Mac and doesn't have Windows (I lied). The caller said "you have a mac?" and then promptly hung up.
