What are these RV hose clamps?

Can I reuse them, what tool do I need to get them off and if necessary new ones back on.

Crimp clamps. Not reusable. You can open them up with a flat blade screwdriver or similar tool.

Most hardware stores carry them but I would use a worm gear clamp instead.

Those are oetiker clamps Hugh. They are crimped with a special tool so one time use only.

I got an Oetiker tool and some various clamps in anticipation of making new fuel lines for my Carerra. The tool costs about $20 and clamps are 50 cents or so. I use it for all sorts of jobs. I've had it with screw clamps for anything I'm not expecting to take apart soon. These are fast, easy and effective.

That looks like 1/2'' ID PEX. If so, you can get a clamp tool and brass fittings at HD or Lowes.

This. Pex fittings and crimp rings. Not reusable.

Hugh, the pex system also offers screw together joints that can make doing repairs in tight locations a lot easier to do.

Thanks, looks like I'm off to Lowes. I had to take a bunch of panels and crap out of the RV to get at this thing. I had to cut this fitting to get at a related leak.

There are Oetiker clamps that are not adjustable. I find them easier to use.

as it is being used to clamp some 1/2" white PEX tubing i REASSERT my position that it is a PEX clamp. you got nothin shauny boy get back to work.

Going to go with the PEX tool and clamps. I just want to make sure that I never have to visit this leak again. Plus all the plumbing in the RV is done with this stuff, so I might as well be prepared for down the road. I swear some of the plumbing like the Black and Gray water tanks looks like they were installed before they added the body, I don't see how some of this stuff can ever come out.
They make these things like they are never going to have to be serviced. I had to pull all the water connections, cable, faucet for the outside just to get at the leak. The white board that you see will NOT come out of the opening> I have to work around it.
