Jason Bourne- the movie

Wife and I saw it yesterday. Pretty good story line. Didn't like the the up-close action scenes and they go on too long. In the earlier films the action scenes were more believable. And the technology of the CIA seems a bit over the top. Maybe they wanted to play to the "we're all being watched" crowd. I understand the fantasy aspect of it but it was more like Fast and Furious meets James Bond.

I want to see this one and liked the first three. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't seem to like it as well.

I thought it was boring. My wife and I actually considered walking out. We loved the Bourne series.

Too many close up shots sometimes left you guessing just what was going on, otherwise good movie.

Heh. My first thought was "what, more than the Blues Brothers?" - then i read this https://www.carthrottle.com/post/top-9-movies-that-killed-the-most-cars/

Blues Brothers rate #8 & #7 on that list. I've only seen 1/3 of the movies in the top 6...

I am generally fairly easy to amuse. Really enjoyed the first three movies. This one I thought was just mediocre. Would not pay to see it again.

This video has it mostly right:

The new one is all right, but doesn't being anything new to the story. I preferred Legacy to this one.

Saw this Tuesday night. What struck me as odd with this movie compared to the previous is that it seemed to be non-stop action with little of that "thinking man's game" feel that made the original Bourne movies so good.

My wife and I saw it this past weekend.
Your assessment is spot on.

Way too much shaky camera work for me. I get that it's the director's style, but the movie was halfway unwatchable.
