I watched an HHR roll multiple times right in front of me on I-74. I watched a body get launched 30-40 feet in the air out of the car. My instinct was to lock the brakes, but somehow I still drove over some of the debris and only stopped about 50 feet from the car once it stopped rolling. It happened so fast I had to sit there and think, "Did that just happen?" before I got out an started to look for the body that went flying. I don't fault the truck driver. The view from the camera is NOT the whole view he was seeing. He had mirrors and ability to pan (look side to side). Who knows what else was going on.

On an only vaguely related note, after the video, one of the other videos suggested was called "Deadly Accidents, Worst Pedestrian Accidents Compilation / AVTO-CRASH CHANNEL". Wow! I didn't expect a video that felt like an old faces of death video on youtube. I watched a little bit of the video. Fortunately, all of the footage that I saw was very poor quality which is what allowed me to watch as much as I did (no visible blood or anything that I saw). Just wow, many/most (not all) of the accidents were completely due to pedestrians being somewhere that they clearly shouldn't have been and/or not paying attention. Some of the videos definitely seemed like a huge miss on the part of the vehicle operator.

masraum, I watched some of that too. Jeebus that was awful. I made it about a minute and had to shut it down after the trash truck mowed that first person.

The music alone is enough to cause a wreck.

I eventually went back and watched more. Later on, someone crawls between 2 axles of a semi trailer while it's stationary. It then starts and drags them a bit. It's pretty gruesome.

I pretty much always watch that sort of video with the audio muted because it's always horrible music or people making ridiculous statements.
