The official CAT thread

So........
The Mrs and I were catching a movie at home last night when Onyx strolled into the room then starts in with that sound that that can wake anyone out of the deepest of sleep.

The infamous feline imminent forthcoming cat yak.

I look down and see her doing this chicken head bob thing knowing what is yet to come. I launch out of the chair, no towel nearby, yak is nearly there, six of those sounds coming from the cat, any second now a fountain of whatever..... I do the only thing that comes to mind. I cup my hands and hope I can catch it before it hits the floor. SUCCESS! One handful of cat yak caught before it hits the wood floor. Did I mention that each plank has a beveled edge and is a pain to clean yak out of.

The wife is in hysterics because it happened so fast she had no idea what was going on. Only that she saw me bent over in front of the cat with my hands cupped and in sync with the cats head bob.

The things us humans due for our pets.

The yakster, yup I have lost the couch to the dog/cat bed and their woobie blanket.

This guy has been showing up the past couple of days. I don't think he's an outside kitty because he's too clean, but he has a ton of burrs in his coat from his adventures.

At the parent's ranch.......

Prince(Main-Coon mix/rescue kitty) got his first shave due to his lumpy fur and forthcoming hot weather.

Forgot to show his tail. Apparently it was broken log before he came to live with my parents. So far, he is digging the cut. At least per mum he is.

Now his tail is like a flag flying behind him as he walks around.

Figured out why Gary is so anxious to gain entry to the house.

Apparently he is envious that the inside cats don't have the same competition for dinner.

My wife has named it Rocket.

^^^^RLMFAO!!!

Gary is like......"dad!...........a little help here!!!!!"

I chase them out from under the house from time to time for pilfering the cat foot. We now keep it high off the ground on the work bench but we still find the water dish all mucked up from time to time.

I had one as a pet ..once..
There was no piece!
He got into every locked door, drawer, closet.
Nothing was sacred.
Entertaining funny critters for sure!

My #1 dishwasher taking charge of the left over pasta carbonara sauce.

Good thing the real dishwasher is 5' away to take care of cat germs. 😄
