				iphone issue

My son has had two iPhone 6's go wonky on him. The screen starts flashing and then goes brain dead. We searched online and found plenty of other examples but no one seems to know WTF is happening. Anyone here have an insight?

It's called "planned obsolescence." Actually, there are a significant amount of iPhone 6 models that have shown screen failures after they have been bent or dropped a few too many times. If it shows a white bar towards the top for a while and then dies then this is the problem I've read about, anyway.

This, besides it wears holes in your back pocket. BTW, I've read that phones and wallets are a big cause of lower back and upper rear leg pain. I take my phone and wallet out of my back pockets when I drive.

It's a hardware issue. Just went thru this with my wifes phone. It would open apps, send texts, do random stuff, etc. This was a phone that was never dropped, never got wet, and was kept in a purse. Apple store wanted 120 bucks to fix it, luckily I had a square trade warranty on it. We tried everything, several wipes of the phone, disabling features, etc..

I haven't had any issues with my iPhone 6. However, there are so many millions of iPhones out there that some will be bad, and all sorts of malfs will turn up.
