I always thought this was such a powerful opening scene, as actor Dean Jagger revisits his abandoned WWII airfield, reminiscing the ghosts, and then about 2:40, the B17 fires up! I wish it were longer and in HD sound!

Wow - that opening scene is really good. Not a spoken word and you WANT to see the movie after this! Just pulls you in!
