Anyone laser cut stainless steel?

I have been trying to find a place that custom laser cuts aluminum or stainless steel? I think it would be cool to put my business name cut out and screwed onto the mudflats of my towing rig. It would be maybe 20" long by 3" tall. Thx

Most "serious" sheet metal shops are now doing the majority of their sheet metal pattern work with CNC laser.

Might be worth calling these guys. I have bought various metals from them custom cut. They have been good, fast and well priced. Website says they do laser and water jet custom cutting.

That totally depends on what they are making, their customer base. One of my friends makes custom trailers for the equipment made by another company. He figured out how to do it right and now he has more work than he can keep up with as a one man shop. He bought a water jet CNC table that cuts out the shapes for the trailer parts in way less time than he could do it before. He does not do aerospace or super precision welding, just custom very strong trailers with neat features to help load and unload and secure the equipment.

Still haven't been able to get a reply from any companies. Anyone know of someone that does this on a small scale?

Laser is cool. But you don't need an expensive form of technology to find what you are after.
With something as simple as cutting a thin plate there are many local options.
Waterjet, CNC, plasma, or other capable small companies might do it.
Especially on their off-season.

I tried to add a Duckduckgo link but the html wouldn't include search parameters. Only the main page would copy.

Here is another link from Microsoft Bing: custom sheet metal cutting ohio - Bing

How small scale? I've had these guys do runs of just 100 parts for me before.
